A True Christian

A True Christian bears the signs of True Repentance with their life. A true Christian’s life shows an alteration or change of direction (Matthew 3:8). A true Christian’s life is moving away from sin and moving toward right-living with and for God in practical, visible, audible and sensitive ways. A true Christian is measured not by their perfection but by their direction.     You can check your direction by these two links - ~Sinful Life ,  ~Righteousness

A true Christian is measured not by their Perfection but by their Life's Direction.

For example,

Someone who received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, a true Christian, no longer wants to do the wrong things they used to do. They end up with different friends than they had before they were saved from the kingdom of darkness and Hell They have a different lifestyle than when they went partying or magazine gazing or other activities found at Sinful Life and God's Laws Tarot cards, superstition, gambling, addictions, and immorality grate against their spirit or soul as God’s Holy Spirit urges them away from such things. The Holy Spirit of God warns them that those things are sin and separate them from their closeness with and protection by the Lord God Almighty. Foul language does not come out of their mouth as easily.

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with Whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30

With a true Christian, their heart and thought patterns have changed, their understanding is different, and their behavior displays this inward alteration which occurred by their repentance and confession of their sin to the Lord Jesus Christ and because of the Lord God Almighty’s response to them. (see ___ hy)

This changed pattern of living testifies to the deliverance that the Lord Jesus Christ, God Almighty accomplished by the Holy Spirit within that person. A true Christian has been delivered from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of Light, from being under the devil’s power to being empowered by God’s power (vs) hy link to the other writing). A true Christian is transformed only by God’s power and not of any man/woman’s works lest anyone boast. (Eph 2:8-9)

4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2

Sanctification

This changed pattern of living is called Sanctification. Sanctification means that your life is being set apart for serving God paramountly. It is living a life bearing eternal fruit in proportion to how much you have repented, or turned away, from your sin and sin patterns. (John 15:1-11) Read more on Sanctification

The one who understands how enormously that they have been forgiven by God loves the Lord Jesus Christ more greatly compared to the person who thinks they have had little to be forgiven for by the Holy God. Luke 7:47 , 10 Commandments

Bring me to a A True Christian's Characteristics

Repentance? Means hating your sins, your pattern of sins, and your former sins. It means hating your wrong doing against the holy God. Repentance means turning 180 degrees away from where you were headed in your life (hell) and proactively striving to live 100% in the right direction toward and with God. Repentance means choosing to not do those sinful and offensive things to God again. Repentance means choosing from your heart to do what is right and pleasing to God. The next part is to confess your sins to God.  Some links with things to repent from and some prayers are listed here:

Sinners Prayer        Cult/False Religions            False Teachings         Repent

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 2 Corinthians 7:10

Confess your sins? Means speaking your sins out loud and personal to the Holy God Who does hear you. Confessing your sins to God means that you agree with God that the wrong things which you have said and done and not said and not done, you now hate, too, just as God hates them. You agree with God that you alone are to blame and are at fault for each motive, attitude, action, word, emotion, etc which you enacted against God and what God and God's Laws.  Ways to confess your repentance to the Lord God Almighty:

Sinner's Prayer     My Room    Psalm 51    Come to Me     Come Near        Salvation, Bible

Cast your Cares      Broken Hearted      Everlasting Love      Repent      Righteousness

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are proved right when you speak and justified when You judge.  Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. Psalm 51:3-5

"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” Isaiah 1:18
